ID Edge Installation and Training will get your business up and running quickly with your new ID card printers and software. Installation includes setting up your new equipment, installing ID software and printer drivers, and troubleshooting any integration problems with your existing equipment.
Once everything is running correctly, we'll hold small, hands-on classes to train your operators and IT personnel. We will teach you everything you need to know in order to design and print cards, clean and maintain your printer, and troubleshoot most problems which you may encounter in day-to-day operation. We guarantee that you will be comfortable operating you new photo ID system by the time the training session is over.
Installation Planning
A little planning will help make the most of our time.
- Make sure that you have the computer ready where the software and printer will be installed.
- Make sure all the operators are scheduled for the training session.
- Make sure all IT personnel who may be working with the equipment are scheduled for the training session.
Installation Packages
Silver Package $349.00
This package includes all that is required to get you up and running with your new ID system. This package is recommended for most organizations where photo ID will be a stand alone system. The Silver Package includes the following services:
- Onsite installation of equipment*
- Provide up to 2 hours of basic “How to” training including:
- Database manipulation and setup
- Card template design features
- Entering information and capturing photos
- Search functions and other database queries
- Printer maintenance and cleaning
- Customize data entry screen
- Free shipping and delivery of equipment**
- Provide unlimited phone support for 90 days
*Customers outside the 100-mile radius receive 2 hours telephone support free of charge.
Please note that any onsite service outside of a 100-mile radius is subject to travel charges.
**Extra charges may apply if express delivery is needed.
Gold Package $549.00
Our Gold Package is designed for organizations that plan to use more advanced software features, have existing database information requirements, or require the training of multiple people. This package includes much more intensive training which can be helpful in preparing employees to use the system more efficiently. The Gold Package includes the following services:
- Onsite installation of equipment*
- Provide up to 4 hours of training including:
- Database manipulation and setup
- Card template design features
- Entering information and capturing photos
- Search functions and other database queries
- Importing of data from external databases
- Creating reports
- Customizing the data entry screen
- Printer maintenance and cleaning
- Create 1st card design template
- Create initial database and import any data from an existing external database
- Customize data entry screen
- Free shipping and delivery of equipment**
- Provide unlimited phone support for 6 months

Platinum Package $999.00
This package provides the ultimate in training flexibility along with the highest amount of system integration. We recommended this package for organizations with internal networks, high training needs, multiple stations and specific data requirements. The Platinum Package includes the following services:
- Onsite installation of equipment for up to 3 networked systems*
- Provide up to 6 hours of training including:
- Database manipulation and setup
- Card template design features
- Entering information and capturing photos
- Search functions and other database queries
- Importing of data from external databases
- Creating reports
- Customizing the data entry screen
- Printer maintenance and cleaning
- Create 1st card design template
- Integrate software to work with an existing ODBC compliant database
- Customize data entry screen
- Free shipping and delivery of equipment**
- Provide unlimited phone support for 1 year

Additional Support
Additional onsite support and training is available at the rate of $100 per hour. Phone support is available free of charge up to 30 minutes per month. Phone support beyond this time frame is subject to the charge of $30 per hour.
Service Area
ID Edge is located in Louisville, Colorado, a few minutes outside of Denver. Our service area goes from Cheyenne, Wyoming, in the north to Colorado Springs in the south and from Vail in the west to Limon in the east.
