What's the difference?
PassagePoint prints out visitor badges which are adhesive labels that people apply to their shirt or jacket. PassagePoint allows you to register visitors and to check them in and out of your building. You can hook up mulitple devises, like a card scanner or computer touch screen, to make ckeck-in fast and easy for guests. The labels are inexpensive, but only last one day.
Lobby Track can track visitors, equipment and deliveries entering and exiting a facility. Equipment tags can be custom designed and quickly produced. Return events are automatically scheduled during check-out. Notifications occur if equipment is not returned by the scheduled time. Deliveries brought to the front desk by FedEx, UPS, etc can be tracked so they get to the right person ASAP.
Asure ID and EZ Badge are for printing out permanent badges and ID cards that can potentially last five years or more. A permanant card can incorporate security features such as magnetic stripes and smart chips that can't be used with a label. EZ Badge is a simple and straight-forward badge printing program that works with a stand-alone database and is attached to one printer.
Asure ID offers a range of software packages from basic to enterprise level. With Asure ID you can capture photos, signature, fingerprints and other biometric information and include it on the ID card. It stores all this information into a database so you can easily look it up and reprint an ID card if necessary. With Asure ID Enterprise you can then export your database of cardholders to other security software that can check people in and out of a building or an entire organization.
