Sheriffs in Sin City
What better place for the Western States Sheriffs’ Association Conference than the “Sin City,” Las Vegas? The event draws eager attendees from across the nation and is one of the best law enforcement shows in the region. According to the association, their goal is to provide members the opportunity to network with fellow sheriffs, share best practices, learn new ideas and hear different perspectives.
First-Rate Training
One important mission of WSSA is to provide first rate training to its members, that is relevant, impactful and timely. This year’s event has an amazing lineup of trainings, including a Keynote welcome by Mr. Gene Kranz, Flight Director for Apollo 13, and a session called “Creating a Culture of Sustainability and Retention in Law Enforcement.”
